Board Opening: The Summit Valley School District #202 is accepting applications from persons interested in serving on the Board of Education from the date of appointment on December 16, 2026 until the next regular biennial school election in November 2027. To be eligible for appointment, each candidate must be a registered voter of the school district and reside within the school district boundaries. 

Any person who meets the qualifications and who desires to be considered for the appointment is invited to apply by November 30, 2026 at the district office or contact Kristina Allen at 509-935-6362. The Board will interview prospective candidates on December 2, 2026 at a public meeting.

Employment Opportunity: Summit Valley School District #202 is accepting applications for a temporary Paraprofessional position with possibility of the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year. This position is 7 hour per day/5 days a week in the middle school classroom.
